Tseu Ying Tang

From short copy to books—if it’s words, she’ll bite.

Tseu is a copywriter. She chews everyday words and spits them out again when they say exactly what they should. Sure, she’s interested in Big Literature. Maybe one day, she’ll actually finish that Novel. But for now, she’s more interested in the little details. Because it’s a copywriter’s craft to make all words matter, for they shape the world we live in. From the drop-down menu of your favourite webshop to the back of your scented candle (the nice one). She likes writing quirky copy that makes you pause, smile or think twice. Preferably all of the above.

Lots of blahdeeblah to say: you could let her write for you.

But isn’t she afraid of AI taking over her job?

AI might handle the repetitive stuff, and sure, it’s great for making summaries and doing the superficial research. But it’s not that great at capturing human nuance. I have little quirks that make my writing feel alive. It takes an actual human to add that pinch of spice to make it feel real. Even if I like using em dashes—you’ll notice the difference. Promise.

So, thanks, but no worries. My job’s safe for now and arguably, even more important than before.
Plus, who’s going to teach AI to have a sense of humor?

Let’s give it a go. Where do I go?

Very swell.
